From personal experience, Lyon-Saint Exupéry (LYS) and Geneva International Airport (GVA) are the most convenient landing points. Lyon is probably the easiest of all the airports in terms of the onward journey to Bourg Saint Maurice by train, bus or hire car.

By Train

Bourg Saint Maurice Train Station

If starting from the UK, the Eurostar/Eurotunnel will conveniently take you directly from London Kings Cross St. Pancras to Bourg Saint Maurice, but only during the winter months. During both the summer and winter months, you can catch direct trains from Paris (8 hours) or Lyon (3 hours).  Other airports and starting points may require a few connections to Bourg Saint Maurice.

By Car

A43 France

If you are flying in, we would recommend that you fly to Lyon.  Then pick up your hire car and make the very pleasant and picturesque drive down the very A43 and N90 to Bourg Saint Maurice.  A similarly scenic route can be taken from Geneva airport via the A41, A43 and N90.  If you don't mind adding 20 minutes to your journey from Geneva then driving along the shores of Lake Annecy
